Kitchenware All Kitchenware is made of carefully selected timber, usually Sycamore and sometimes Maple or Beech, chosen for it's suitability for this task. These timbers are chosen because they will not taint the food they come into contact with. All Kitchenware products are finished with a protective coat of a natural mineral oil which is totally food safe. These products are designed to be used and can be washed up by hand in hot soapy water with the rest of the "pots", however: They are not suitable for use in a dishwasher ! !
