Oak Bowl
Oak Bowl
Oil finished English Oak Bowl with an in-curvnig rim and decorative foot which appears to lift the bowl up from the table.

Sycamore Bowl

Sycamore Bowl
Similar to the Oak bowl above but turned in Sycamore which featured some spalting and a slight rippled effect.

Spalted Beech Bowl
Spalted Beech Bowl
An Ogee style bowl, again with a small foot. Notice the attarctive pattern of black lines naturally created by the Spalting in the timber.

Olive Ash Bowl

Olive Ash Bowl
Olive Ash comes from older trees and has streaks of a much deeper brown colour. Turned to the Simple bowl shape with no foot.

Sycamore Bowl
Sycamore Bowl
Another Sycamore bowl, this time turned into a "Flying Saucer" shape and features decorative lines of Copper set into an Epoxy Resin.

Sycamore Bowl with Textured and Coloured Rim
Sycamore Bowl
This Sycamore Bowl is turned to the Simple Design shown on the main Bowls page, this time the inner bowl shape does not follow the outside shape. Instead, there is a wide rim that I have textured and painted black. This creates an interesting contrast between the smooth interior and the textured rim.

Thin Walled Maple Bowl
Maple Bowl
This small Maple bowl has a wall thickness of just 3mm and features a decorative band of black Acrylic paint.
