Woodturning by Richard Findley,
The Turner's Workshop offers a wide range of turned wooden items, all hand made to order for the trade or general public. From components for furniture or display (POS) work, turned details for joiners, parts for furniture restoration, bases for existing trophies or awards, unique gifts or items for the home or kitchen.
There is a range of suggested designs throughout the website and there is always the option to design your own items. Because everything is individually hand made by myself in my workshop in Wigston, Leicestershire, there is an endless number of variations and combinations of all items shown.
Because I spent 12 years as a joiner with experience in the shopfitting trade before becoming a professional woodturner, I am able to offer expert advice concerning all aspects of timber, it's preparation, working properties and care of the finished products.
I can supply a single item such as a bowl, chopping board or staircase spindle, larger quantities for re-sale, one off woodturning commissions to order, or spindle work such as furniture parts, balusters, finials and knobs, from singles to small production runs of 1-100 or so items.
I am happy to Demonstrate at Woodturning Clubs and Shows and I stock a wide range of Woodturner's Supplies, from Chestnut Finishes to Abrasives and more! I also offer Woodturning Tuition to any one wishing to learn more about the craft.
All of the hardwood used in the manufacture of my products is carefully selected from companies that only supply timber from renewable sources and all wood waste is now recycled.
